Objective

The aim of the study course is to develop students' understanding of the practical applications of specialized medical instruments, equipment, and systems in clinical medicine.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites - study courses "Anatomy" and "Physiology", "Medical instruments, equipment and systems".

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

As a result of mastering the study course, students will be able to describe the practical application of specialized medical instruments, equipment and systems in clinical medicine.

Skills

As a result of mastering the study course, students will understand
o to name the most important features of medical equipment;
o to classify medical instruments according to several features;
o to name the technologies and equipment used in different clinical fields;
o explain the aims and nature of the technology.

Competence

As a result of the study course students will be able to make reasonable decisions ensuring the functioning of specialized medical instruments, equipment and systems in clinical medicine.
