About Study Course
Objective
To deepen and expand theoretical knowledge and integrate the latest scientific findings in the comprehension of body and psyche interaction in the context of physiotherapy.
Prerequisites
Knowledge and skills acquired to obtain a professional qualification of a physiotherapist and a bachelor's degree in health care.
Learning outcomes
Describes and explains the physiological and patho-physiological nature of the body-psyche interaction, based on evidence from recent research. Describes the conceptual models of physiotherapy that integrate the bio-psycho-social model and the unity of the body-psyche and the latest scientific evidence that allow them to be justified.
Recognizes and analyzes the influence of mental factors on the results of physical functional assessment, integrates them in the process of evaluation and clinical reasoning in various complex situations in physiotherapy. Identifies and analyzes the interaction of psychosocial factors with activity limitations and patient complaints in various complex situations in physiotherapy. Applies the bio-psycho-social model in the clinical reasoning process in various complicated situations in physiotherapy.
Creates and develops the professional competence in physiotherapy by integration comprehension of body-psyche interconnection, the latest evidence and creative, innovative solutions for various target groups.
