About Study Course
Objective
To teach the theory of Pilates exercise system and to build awareness of the integration of Pilates in Health Fitness routine. To teach Pilates exercises for different levels of fitness with and without equipment. To master Pilates session management.
Prerequisites
Anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, desirable knowledge in psychology, pedagogy; culture of movement; basics of gymnastics and terminology.
Learning outcomes
As a result of the study course, students will know Pilates as part of health sport theory and methods; aspects of Pilates instructors professionalism; Pilates exercise techniques.
As a result of mastering the study course, students will be able to perform technically correct Pilates basic exercises; to conduct Pilates classes methodically correctly, or to synthesize and dose them; correctly correct customer mistakes and control the technique of performing exercises; compile different programs of classes depending on the chosen goal, group preparation or equipment to be used in the class.
Exercise methods: Pilates lesson: appropriate introductory part; movement execution technique; logical sequence of exercises in the exercise program, and correction of technic.
