Objective

Students must acquire knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the methods of qualitative analysis of inorganic substances and application thereof in practice.

Prerequisites

General chemistry and mathematics.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Successful completion of the course will result in knowledge that will allow:
- to describe the content of methods for the qualitative analysis of inorganic chemicals;
- to understand how to apply qualitative and quantitative analytical methods.

Skills

At the end of the study course, the student is able to do the following:
- to perform qualitative analysis of inorganic substances;
- to apply them in practice, for the qualitative analysis of therapeutic substances;
- to evaluate the results of the analysis.

Competence

At the end of the study course, the student will know how to do the following:
- recommend and justify the most appropriate qualitative methods for the analysis of inorganic chemicals;
- qualitatively determine impurities in substances.
