Objective

Deepen understanding of research process, improve the ability to perform independent research in accordance with the basic principles of research, as well as develop critical thinking.

Prerequisites

Knowledge in care study subjects, informatics, statistics.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

As a result of completing the course students will be aware of the meaning of evidence based practice and research process guidelines, basic principles for research ethics, regulatory requirements and types of design.

Skills

As a result of the study course students will be able to evaluate the significance of scientific methods health care practice, choose appropriate research design; will be able to meet the ethical aspects of research.

Competence

Provide arguments based on scientific evidence on the procedures of patient care. Will be able to independently formulate research question in the field of health care, to obtain, select and analyse information in research of health care problems in accordance with the basic principles of scientific methodology.
