Objective

The course envisages independent work of a doctoral student related to preparation and writing of the doctoral thesis under the guidance of his/her scientific supervisor.

Prerequisites

Master’s degree in Management, Political Science, International Relations, Health Science.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Upon completion of the study course, a doctoral student will have acquired knowledge of the research aims and strategy, academic writing, structure of a doctoral thesis and expected results.

Skills

A doctoral student is able to carry out scientific research in the field of business administration, to define work strategy, to create the design and structure of the research, to select special literature, to collect empirical data, to develop an appropriate theory applying modern research methods, to formulate conclusions and research results.

Competence

Professional competence in business administration, including subject-related competence, organisational methodological competence, analytical and evaluative competence, research competence, information selection related competence.
