Objective

To familiarise students with the basic principles of scientific methodology and their use; to familiarise with the organisation, planning and implementation of scientific research work.

Prerequisites

The study course Research Methodology and Logics has been mastered.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Students know profoundly the basic principles of scientific methodology and their use; know the steps of planning and implementation of scientific research work.

Skills

To read, select and structure scientific literature and to prepare a literature review on the selected topic; to plan independently the design of the work; able to select research methods relevant to the subject of the scientific research work; able to plan and implement the use of research methods.

Competence

Students are able to independently acquire, select and analyse information independently and use it; able to use research methods to carry out research activities.
