Objective

Draw up and format the theoretical part of the doctoral thesis, discuss and evaluate it in the group under the guidance of lecturers; plan knowledge dissemination events, presentations and publications.

Prerequisites

The course “Seminar of Doctoral students I” completed.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

The doctoral student, based on the correctly selected sources of literature on their subject matter, carries out the analysis and synthesis of the sources, describes the types of scientific activities and steps for their implementation in accordance with the stage of development of the thesis.

Skills

The doctoral student describes the theoretical framework and methodology of their work, taking into consideration the requirements of academic writing and formatting, participates in group discussions on the theoretical justification of their own thesis and the theses of other students on the basis of several criteria: selection of literature and the theoretical basis, accuracy in the use of terminology, reasoning, continuity and logic, amount of information and validity of conclusions.

Competence

The doctoral student academically correctly creates the theoretical basis for the thesis, presents it, participates and maintains a scientific discussion in psychology; chooses the appropriate activities for the knowledge dissemination and scientific events.
