Objective

The aim of the study course is to provide knowledge and understanding of the potential of social enterprises and integration in social work.

Prerequisites

Theories and Methods of Social Work.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Upon completion of the study course, students will gain an understanding of innovation resources in social work and the concept of social enterprise; will be able to apply and integrate the acquired knowledge into social problem management practice.

Skills

Students will be able to analyse, assess and apply the potential opportunities of a social enterprise in social work practice in specific circumstances (community, local government).

Competence

Students will be able to model and creatively develop forms of social work by applying the principles and logistics of creating social enterprises.
