Objective

To provide students with the possibility of obtaining general knowledge in the fields of criminal offences against general security and public order, and criminal offences against road safety, criminal law and criminal procedure law specifics in the investigation thereof, to draw attention to the doctrine of the said law, legal framework, current case law, to develop basic skills and basic abilities for independent qualification and investigation of the said criminal offences, forming the person's (student's) competence in the field of criminal law and criminal procedure law.

Tasks:
1) To provide an opportunity of learning the criminal law aspects of criminal offences against general security and public order, and criminal offences against road safety.
2) To provide an opportunity of learning the criminal procedure aspects of criminal offences against general security and public order, and criminal offences against road safety.

Prerequisites

Acquisition of the basic course on criminal law and criminal procedure law.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

The study course allows gaining knowledge about the doctrine of criminal law and partly criminal procedure law, legal framework and case law in relation to criminal offences against general security, public order and road safety, as well as specific character of investigation thereof.

Skills

Within the framework of the study course, students will acquire general skills and abilities of classifying criminal offences against general security, public order and road safety. Students will develop general skills and abilities related to investigating criminal offences of the said categories.

Competence

Finishing the study course will provide students with the knowledge, skills and abilities of orientating in the specific character of investigating criminal offences against general security, public order and road safety.
