About Study Course
Objective
Raise awareness of the professional activity of a supervisor in different environments, its legal and ethical framework, and the importance of respecting rights and ethics in professional work, including by documenting own activities. Develop the skills to apply the principles of rights and ethics to case analyses on supervision dilemmas, by developing an understanding of the supervisor's double responsibility for legal and ethical issues. Develop cultural competence in supervision.

Forms of learning and professional development. Importance of lifelong learning.
Learning outcomes
Students describe the professional nature of the supervisor, the value, the professional environment of supervision. Describe the legal documents and ethical principles related to professional activity (including the requirements of the regulatory enactments on labour and labour protection, the data protection of natural persons and the principles of private life; basic principles of professional and general ethics). Analyse and assess the legal and ethical aspects of the supervision situation, in cases of legal and ethically sensitive supervision; define and analyse potential legal and ethical problems and organise information to further address the problem, describe what documents are needed in the supervisor's activities.
Address ethical dilemmas in supervision by applying the code of ethics and ethical guidelines to address ethical dilemmas, as well as by demonstrating multicultural competence, preparing documents related to supervision.
By understanding the potential impact of their activities on an individual, group, team or organisation, demonstrate legal, ethical and cultural competence in case analysis.
