About Study Course
Objective
To learn the aetiology, pathogenesis, clinic, complications, treatment principles, tactics in emergency situations of general surgery, traumatology, aetiology of diseases.
Prerequisites
In normal anatomy, functional physiology, fundamentals of physics, and internal diseases.
Learning outcomes
After successful fulfilment of the study course requirements, the student will have acquired the knowledge to describe the aetiology and pathogenesis of surgical and traumatological diseases, clinical signs, possible complications, name differential diagnoses and necessary diagnostic measures, describe prevention and treatment measures.
As a result of completing the study course, the student knows how to differentiate clinical signs and symptoms of general surgery, traumatology diseases, to rank them according to severity and degree of danger.
Will be able to assess, diagnose, plan and provide emergency assistance measures for surgical and traumatology patients.
