Preliminary Knowledge: | Bachelor's level competence in matters of the social work sector and completion of the study courses of the Master's degree programme “Social work”. | ||||||||
Objective: | Develop the ability of the postgraduate students to conduct research, ability to independently define and critically analyse complex scientific and professional issues within the sector of social policy and social work; ability to integrate knowledge of various areas and contribute to the creation of new knowledge and to the development of methods used in research or professional activity, demonstrate understanding and ethical responsibility for the possible impact of the research results or professional activity on the environment and society. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | Drawing up the application for the research topic of the Master’s thesis and developing research design; analysis, systematisation and compilation of the information sources (literature, statistical data, studies, etc.); developing research methodology and research tools; data acquisition and analysis, drawing conclusions and raising questions (theses) for discussion. | ||||||||
