Preliminary Knowledge: | Knowledge in research methodology, evidence based practice in health care. | ||||||||
Objective: | Aim of the course is to deepen students' understanding of scientific discovery and health sciences research results applicability to society as well as to introduce students to the knowledge transfer strategies for different target groups in society. | ||||||||

Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | Students consolidate the theoretical material learned in lectures by independently reading the specified sources of information. Independent search of the latest scientific literature, its critical analysis and active participation in discussions in classes. Preparation of the study assignment (description available in E-studies) and individual reporting the results. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | The exam is implemented in a cumulative format (the final grade is formed from the evaluations of the individual tasks performed during the course): - test on lecture material - 10%; - independently read literature and participation in discussions - 15%; - summary of the analysis of information sources and examples of knowledge transfer - 15%; - the written individual study assignment submitted within the specified deadline - 30%; - report on the study assignment and discussion - 30%. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | Define and describe knowledge transfer/ translation (KT) process, models and mechanisms. | ||||||||

Competencies: | Critically analyse the situation in the different rehabilitation settings and promote evidence-based practice in rehabilitation. | ||||||||
