Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Acquire knowledge about different aspects and contexts of child development. Will be able to characterize children activities, describe development of ones and explain the most typical restrictions, recognize the main theoretical approaches in pediatric OT and will be able to describe ones. Skills:Will be able to evaluate and describe functional skills of a child, will use separate standartised OT assessment tools, to analyse restrictions and resources of carrying out activities for children. Will interpret evaluation results and plan therapy accordingly to activity disfunction of a child. Demonstrate in oversight therapeutical methods, document OT process in its different stages.
Competencies:Using the acquired knowledge and skills about pediatric OT methods students will be able to: • interpret and evaluate results; • plan intervention according a child's disfunction; • develop and use evidence based assessment and therapy; • evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.
