Assessment
Unaided Work:
Preparation of 3 summaries according to the given topic and requirements, and independent preparation of the course work application. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
3 summaries – compulsory, 20% of the final mark each, a total of 60% of the final mark. The quality of the content and structure of the summary is evaluated according to the principles acquired in the course. Course work application – compulsory, 40%. The structure of the course work application and the quality of the necessary (acquired during the course) research elements and their contents` interrelation according to the student's manual and the principles acquired during the course are evaluated.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Knowledge of the essence of the research, the research framework, its elements and their interconnection. Understanding of research methods and their differences. Knowledge of the principles of searching and structuring information sources.
Skills:Students are able to create a research framework and correctly define its elements. Students are able to make an appropriate choice of research methods. Students are able to apply quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Competencies:Students are able to develop a logical and structured economic research methodology for analyzing socio-economic processes and developing management decisions. Students are able to identify the necessary improvements of existing economic research methodology.
