Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
General research knowledge appropriate to your level of study, profession and specialization. Prior knowledge in social sciences is desirable, but not a prerequisite for involvement in the project.
Objective:
To provide an opportunity for those studying in various study programs of RSU to learn the competence to collaborate interdisciplinary in the organization and implementation of research work, participating in the conduct of specific research and the dissemination of research results.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
The student completes group and individual tasks within a certain time limit, if necessary, in cooperation with other course participants, working in teams. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal. tasks to be performed individually and/or in a group, depending on the stages of the research that have already been carried out and may include defining the purpose of the research, formulating research tasks and questions, choosing a research method appropriate to the research questions, precisely determining the research sample, procedure, data collection method and data analysis method , describing and presenting research results, explaining them, evaluating scientific strength and drawing conclusions. Likewise, independent work includes presenting research results at conferences, as well as preparing publications.
Assessment Criteria:
The following are assessed: approbation of the research results at the conference; teamwork presentation on the achieved results; researcher's diary of group or individual work.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Students describe the principles of the organization of the research process and conditions of cooperation, use research terminology, describe and analyze the researched feature using bibliometrics and altmetrics tools.
Skills:Students collect, process and interpret the data obtained in the study individually and in cooperation in a team, using bibliometric and altmetric methods and present the results of the study. Students evaluate their own and/or teammates' contribution to the development of the research project.
Competencies:Students cooperate in an interdisciplinary team, organizing and implementing research work, as well as disseminating research results, according to the level of study.
