Objective: | To advance the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in project development and management by developing and presenting a project according to ones’ professional interests and requirements of a self-chosen national or international project tender. | ||||||||

Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | To independently consolidate the lecture material by reading the indicated sources systematically. Working in groups of four to five students, develop a project that complies with any of the self-chosen national or international project tenders for their professional interests or submission. To present the project. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | A project application has been prepared and presented in writing in accordance with the criteria and structure of the national or international project competition of one's choice. The final evaluation, based on the project presentation in the form of a presentation, consists of: 1) evaluation of the course lecturer (50%), 2) motivated evaluation of the course members' project presentation (25%), 3) self-motivated project evaluation of the presentation group (25%). | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students explain the concept of the project, name the basic principles for its creation, planning, implementation and management, as well as team formation, rising of funds and risk assessment. | ||||||||
Skills: | Students select and aggregate the information about the available project tenders, formulate a topical and creative project idea, plan the aspects of activities, funding, control, risk management, communication and teamwork, as well as select the collaboration partners. Describe the project according to the criteria and structure, laid down by the chosen project tender. Present their own idea and project. | ||||||||
Competencies: | During the teamwork students plan and describe a project which corresponds to the basic principles of project management and present it to the audience. | ||||||||
