The annual Children's Health Day will be held on 2 and 3 November, organised by the Latvian Paediatric Association. As an initiative put forward by the RSU Paediatric Student Interest Group, for the first time the event will also include the International Scientific Paediatric Student Conference.
On 2 November the RSU Main Auditorium will be the venue for a conference that will gather lecturers from Latvia and international guest lecturers from Finland, Great Britain, Ukraine and Spain who will present on the following themes: children born preterm, fever, Kawasaki disease, patient safety, meningitis in children and autoinflammatory diseases.
We invite students to register for the International Scientific Paediatric Student Conference and submit clinical case reports and research abstracts on the official website by 23:59 on 21 October.
On 3 November, international students will have the opportunity to take part in practical work stations that will be led by newly-certified doctors and residents as well as members of the Paediatric and Neonatology Student Interest Groups.
