A practical suturing workshop will be held in the Medical Education Technology Centre (METC) from 9:00 to 13:00, led by two experienced surgeons – Dr. Alise Didrihsone and Dr. Krista Grigoroviča – who will teach you the basic and advanced techniques you will need to succeed in your future careers. Topics covered: surgical knot tying and various suturing techniques including simple interrupted, continuous, lock stitch and intracutaneous sutures. This workshop is mainly aimed at students in their clinical years, however students in pre-clinics may also apply.
You will get to develop your practical skills with real materials!
There are three available times for the workshops: 9:30-10:30, 10:45-11:45 and 12:00-13:00.
