The President and Rector of the American University of Cyprus, Prof. Dr. Marc-Antoine Zabbal, and Dr. Tarek Sadek, who is on the university's board of trustees will visit Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) on 15 and 16 May.
During the official visit, there will be a focus on fostering collaborative research endeavours through the establishment of a mutual research centre along with joint research activities in the field of social sciences. Additionally, a discussion will take place regarding the facilitation of student and staff exchanges under the Erasmus+ programme. Moreover, a significant event during the visit will be the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, solidifying the commitment to cooperation and partnership between the visiting institution and the university. Furthermore, the itinerary includes a presentation highlighting the RSU Medical study programme, followed by a tour of the Medical Education Technology Centre, showcasing state-of-the-art simulation technologies utilised in both medical and social science disciplines.
