The Rīga Conference is an annual meeting of regional and international experts in foreign policy and defence, academics, journalists, and business representatives, promoting the discussion and assessment of issues affecting the transatlantic community. Convening in the Latvian capital since 2006, the conference has become a recognised annual tradition in the region.
On October 17th the first day day of discussions will be held at the venue. Among hot topics are: Ukraine's victory, European security, the impact of A.I., global challenges, the role of the UN Charter, NATO's strategic partnerships and others.
The Rīga Conference 2024 will be taking place from 17th till 19th of October 2024. It will be preceded by one day of the Future Leaders Forum on the 16th continuing on till 17th October 2024. This year’s conference is organised in a hybrid format: with a limited number of participants in person and a wider audience online in order to ensure maximum safety and flexibility for all participants and speakers.
