Staff Christmas event
The traditional staff Christmas event will take place at 15.00 on 19 December in the RSU Great Hall.
Programme
12.00–15.00 photo session with a professional photographer before and after the concert
15.00–16.00 concert in the RSU Great Hall
16.00–17.30 refreshments and socialising with colleagues, as well as the announcement of the winners of the RSU calendar photo competition and a masterclass in gingerbread decorating
Ziema.lv is a concert programme by the new big band Mirāža ( led by Lauris Amantovs), featuring a selection of Latvian jazz compositions dedicated to winter, depicting it in all its diversity: both contemplative (Elegy) and joyful (Solstice), and in a festive holiday mood ( The Light from the Heart).
The concert will feature the best jazz compositions by Latvian jazz greats Gunārs Rozenbergs, Egīls Straumes, Raimonds Pauls and Alvilis Altmanis, as well as compositions by Madars Kalniņš and songs with lyrics by Latvian poets - these will be unique premiere performances!
The RSU Mixed Choir Riga will perform together with the big band and singer Ieva Kerēvica.
