The workshop on Friday, 17 March, co-organised by RSU Institute of Public Health and the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Oral Health, will be held as a workgroup meeting of experts in public health, primary healthcare, dentistry and economics.
The objective of the seminar is to investigate the facilitators and barriers to the implementation of value-based dentistry in Latvia, with the aim of developing sustainable and cost-effective healthcare practices. The event aims to create a Declaration that outlines the role of Oral Health in Value-Based Health Care in Latvia, highlighting the importance of integrating oral health into overall healthcare systems and promoting a patient-centred approach to dental care. By identifying the key factors that impact the implementation of value-based dentistry in Latvia and outlining a plan for integrating oral health into overall healthcare systems, this event aims to improve the quality of dental care in Latvia and promote better health outcomes for patients.
The workshop is targeted at public health professionals, primary health care professionals, dental public health professionals, dentists and dental hygienists working in academia.
