Preliminary Knowledge:

Objective:
The objective of the course is to provide an opportunity to learn and apply in practice qualitative research methods in recreation, to learn theoretically and apply practically the choice of student training tools and methods.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Lectures, practical classes, independent learning, seminars, interim examinations, final examination. Students’ independent learning is organised individually and/or in working groups. Student independently prepare for seminar classes and interim examinations
Assessment Criteria:
The total assessment is summative. Presentation; final examination.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:1. Understand the qualitative methods used in recreation research, their application and analysis. 2. Understands the training process, its importance in recreation.
Skills:1. Knows how to choose methods appropriate to the research and organise research in recreation. 2. Knows how to work independently with video analysis programs and develop a scientific presentation.
Competencies:1. Skilfully organises research in recreation, analyses research results using qualitative data processing programmes. 2. Addresses professional issues related to research in recreation and the training process. 3. Can independently perform pedagogical biomechanical video analysis of any athletic discipline using computer programs.
