Objective:

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Students’ independent learning is organised individually and/or in working groups. Students prepare independently for seminar classes; study and analyse scientific literature related to the topics of the course; develop and present independent work: 1. To carry out an evaluation of the problem of qualitative research in the selected topic in pedagogical, sports and health education. 2. To independently develop a qualitative research plan in the selected topic in pedagogy or sports and health education. 3. To present and discuss in a reasoned manner the choice of sampling methods for the selected qualitative research and the content of the data collection methods based on the developed qualitative research plan. 4. To independently collect data, process collected data in a group, analyse and evaluate results and draw conclusions. 5. To independently create a presentation and present and discuss the results of the research in a reasoned manner in a group.
Assessment Criteria:
Assessment criteria of learning outcomes: 1. Active activity in seminars 30% 2. Independent work performed by the student 50% 3. Written test of the study course 20%

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:1. Latest research in the field of pedagogy and sports and health education. 2. Understanding the approaches and principles of qualitative research in education and sports, health education, methods of qualitative research and procedures for collecting and analysing qualitative data.
Skills:3. To select the scheme (design) of the qualitative study appropriate for solving the problem to be investigated, formulate the scientific categories of the study. 4. To discuss in a reasoned manner the choice of sampling methods for the selected qualitative study and the content of the data collection methods. 5. To collect data for education research.
Competencies:6. Able to independently process, analyse and evaluate the qualitative data obtained during the qualitative study in the field of sports and health education, choosing appropriate methods of data processing and interpretation, drawing conclusions and assessing their reliability, able to demonstrate a scientific approach to problem solving.
