Preliminary Knowledge:
Study courses mastered: Educational Psychology for Teachers, Teacher’s Professional Skills, Social-Emotional Learning, Legal Aspects of Pedagogical Process, Teaching and Learning in the Context of Diversity, General and Physical Activity Biochemistry, Human Anatomy and Dynamic Anatomy, Foundations and Methodology of Volleyball, Foundations and Methodology of Track and Field Exercises, Foundations and Methodology of Swimming, Foundations and Methodology of Gymnastics, Rhythmics and Rhythmic Combinations, History of Sport, Philosophy of Sport, Sport in Multicultural Environment and Olympic Education, Project Development, Teacher’s Placement I.
Objective:
To promote the education of a qualified and creative teacher by promoting a link between theoretical knowledge and practical activity, fostering the development of professional competence. 
Assessment
Unaided Work:
Creates a pre-placement vision. Activities of an institution and its specifics. Observes and analyses sports classes led by a sports teacher. Code of ethics for teachers. Riga School Museum. Board game with aspects of sports education based on an animation or a motion picture that is interesting for children and young people at that moment. Physical activity in an educational institution. Self-assessment and presentation of placement.
Assessment Criteria:
Parameter/criteria: Abstract of what was seen and heard in the institution; Observation of sports lesson; Summary of every day; Board game; Teacher who is more dangerous than a computer; Code of ethics for teachers; Pre-placement vision (Annex 3); Post-placement self-assessment (Annex 4); Description of physical activity; Placement presentation – Power Point version; Activity at placement bases (asking questions to teachers), gets involved in group work, assumes the leader’s role. The student must receive at least 1 point in each parameter/section. If no points on performance are received in any parameter or section, the final assessment is negative and the placement fails.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:1. Acquires observation skills and technology to guide the learning process in sports classes. 2. Identifies and defines differences in different types of educational institutions in sports education. 3. Analyses and discusses different types of study institutions and the activities of sports teachers.
Skills:4. Creates simple physical activities.
Competencies:5. Presents own knowledge and skills according to the results achieved in the process of observation.
