Preliminary Knowledge: | Anatomy, physiology, introduction to speciality. | ||||||||
Objective: | Students should acquire knowledge of the World Health Organization (WHO) International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and its application in clinical practice of rehabilitation. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | Literature studies, analysis of situational tasks. Completing the study course evaluation questionnaire at the end of the course. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | During the semester individually (50%) and in groups (50%) completed learning tasks according to the course topics. | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students will be able to explain the functioning and disability concepts, describe the WHO ICF, to name and define the terms contained in the ICF, to set out the practical application of the ICF. | ||||||||
Skills: | Students will be able to analyze simple clinical cases using the ICF basic principles, to select and apply appropriate ICF codes, to explain the basic principles of functioning assessment and evaluate the person's functional abilities using a selected measurement. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Students will be able to analyze and interpret the results of the functioning assessments, to formulate and explain their role in the rehabilitation process. | ||||||||
