Objective:
To provide opportunities for doctoral students to deepen their understanding of human functioning from a biopsychosocial perspective, the WHO International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and its application in functioning assessment and intervention planning.

Unaided Work:
Literature studies, case studies. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Active participation in classes, timely submission and successful completion of self-studies assignments. Cumulative examination- average rating of self-studies assignments.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Will be able to understand the biopsychosocial aspects of health, will be able to explain the concepts of functioning and disability, name and define the terms in the International Classification of Functioning (ICF), outline the possibilities of practical application of the ICF.
Skills:Will be able to analyze clinical cases using the basic principles of ICF, select and apply appropriate ICF codes, explain the basic principles of functioning assessment and select appropriate measurements for functioning assessment.
Competencies:Will be able to analyze and interpret the results of the functioning assessment, formulate and explain their significance in the treatment and rehabilitation process.
