Preliminary Knowledge:
Basic professional knowledge, basics of psychology and pedagogy.
Objective:
Improve students' skills to assess health literacy and health behavior for different groups of people (patients, their caregivers, medical personnel, medical support personnel), and prepare educational materials for improving health literacy.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Active participation in practical classes and seminars; situation analysis in groups. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Active participation in classes and seminars (20%); independent presentation of group work (20%); written analysis of completed group work and its presentation (20%); submitted written independent work (project) (40%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:After completing the course, the student will gain an understanding of the basic principles of health literacy, health behavior and health promotion in rehabilitation.
Skills:As a result of learning the study course, the student will be able to evaluate health literacy, health behavior and educational materials for different target groups.
Competencies:As a result of learning the study course, the student will be able to analyze and substantiate the role of health literacy, health behavior and promotion and prevention in the professional activity of a medical practitioner and will be able to apply the acquired skills in practice, creating health promotion and prevention educational materials and programs within the scope of their professional activity.
