Preliminary Knowledge: | Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, physical fitness. | ||||||||
Objective: | To improve students' knowledge, skills and abilities of yoga's healthy effects on the human body, to acquire lesson methodology, skills in organisation of practical classes. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | During the study course the students independently or in groups carry out and demonstrate different types of yoga exercises, paying particular attention to the proper execution of technique and breathing. Short workout program planning. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Attendance of practical classes and lectures. Student's active work in practical classes, physical examination tests. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | Student acquires knowledge about yoga physiological effects on the human body, yoga history and the different types of yoga. | ||||||||
Skills: | On successful course completion student will be able to meet the various elements of yoga, breathing exercises and use appropriate terminology. | ||||||||
Competencies: | On successful course completion students will be able to use elements of yoga in various fitness classes, as well as evaluate the necessity and appropriateness of various elements of yoga application for the fitness club customers with different levels of preparation. | ||||||||
