Objective:
The aim of the course is to provide general information about the Functional training of the New generation (beginning of the 21st century) with a holistic approach, explaining the history and directions of its formation.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Independent practice at home: independently prepared, filmed and sent to the teacher video material, in which the student manages the first two phases of BODYART® Level 1, i.e. 7 exercises for 10 minutes, using the correct terminology, demonstrating the correct and high-quality execution of movements, according to the BODYART® methodology.
Assessment Criteria:
The exam mark consists of: 40% – active participation in classes + 30% – theory test + 30% independent practice at home.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of the study course acquisition, the student will be able to define what is meant by Holistic functional training and its mandatory components. Will be able to describe R. Steinbaher's Holistic functional training system BODYART® and its most popular programs.
Skills:As a result of the study course acquisition, the student will be able to practically lead the introductory part of BODYART® training (the first 2 Energy phases), will be able to define and use BODYART® breathing techniques and will be able to use appropriate terminology.
Competencies:Using the acquired knowledge and skills, students will be able to apply BODYART® elements, breathing and relaxation techniques, as well as knowledge of the importance of the involvement of functional stand, as well as the knowledge about using chains of muscle fascia in various fitness classes. Also, will be able to evaluate the need for and suitability of BODYART® elements for fitness club customers with different levels of training.
