Unaided Work: | • At the end of the course – written homework – independently written research paper – qualitative, submitted in due time. Completed course evaluation questionnaire. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Active individual work in classes (50%). Accordance to formal research paper requirements (50%) (lack of plagiarism, the amount and orthography of literature sources in review and references, accordance of a research plan to the aim of the research, accordance of the research design to the aim of the research). | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | On successful completion of the course, students will be able to: • evaluate a concordance of a research publication to evidence based literature principles, • describe structure of a research paper, • describe designs of research. | ||||||||
Skills: | On successful completion of the course, the students will be able to: • select and use evidence based literature, • summarize literature, • choose an appropriate design of research, • apply an appropriate method for data processing, • present research results. | ||||||||
Competencies: | On successful completion of the course, students will be able to: • write independently a research paper, • obtain health information and critically evaluate it, • recognize health research designs, • use results of evidence based literature in practice. | ||||||||
