RSU Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare becomes a member of Florence Network
Assistant Professor Kristaps Circenis and Rafaels Ciekurs from Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare, Department of Nursing and Midwifery attended the annual meeting of Florence Network coordinators where they gave a presentation on the RSU Faculty of Public Health and Social Welfare, being admitted as a full-fledged member of the Network.

Florence Network is one of Europe’s oldest nursing and midwifery networks that was established in 1995 and comprises 40 universities and higher education establishments from 18 European countries.

The Florence Network membership will foster implementation of international research and education projects in nursing and midwifery. The network membership will also open up new cooperation possibilities in research and education and is a tool for keeping informed on the latest academic developments and trends in educating nurses and midwives.
