Staff and students are invited to the 2024 RSU Academic Ball and Annual Awards!
In 2024 the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) Academic Ball will take place on Saturday, 7 September, at 19.00 at the Riga Latvian Society House (arrival from 18.00). The RSU Annual Awards will be presented at the ball.
The motto of the academic ball is Ad honorem artes, scientia, veritas (in honour of art, science, truth), so let’s celebrate the success of RSU and the accomplishments of the year in a well-deserved event.

RSU and RSU LASE students, staff, and special guests are welcome to attend and celebrate the achievements of the University. The Annual Awards are presented to the most outstanding students, staff members, graduates, researchers, and departments, including the Lifetime Achievement Award. Traditionally, the ball will start with a polonaise, while the rest of the evening will be spent in conversation, dancing, and various fun activities. Big Band Jelgava, Daumants Kalniņš, Rūta Dūduma-Ķirse, Mazais Princis, Papīra lidmašīnas and DJ Kārlis Ķilkuts will perform in the Big Hall and Golden Hall of Riga Latvian Society House, while creative activities and master classes will take place in the White Hall.
Dress code: Black Tie or Dark Suit.
