About Study Course
Objective
To master basic theoretical and practical knowledge in outdoor activities when moving with sports equipment (skis, bicycle, scooter), in accordance with the state pre-school education guidelines and pre-school curriculum.
Prerequisites
Study courses mastered: Teacher’s Professional Skills, Civil Protection, State Security and Environmental Protection for Sustainable Development, Teaching and Learning in the Context of Diversity, Business and Accounting, Educational Psychology for Teachers, Biomechanics and Ergonomics, Human Anatomy and Dynamic Anatomy, Management of Educational Institution, Foundations and Methodology of Obstacle Overcoming, Foundations and Methodology of Moving Objects, Foundations and Methodology of Moving, History of Sport, Philosophy of Sport.
Learning outcomes
1. Knows the facts, understands theories and patterns in outdoor activities when moving with sports equipment (including skiing, driving) in module topics.
2. Understands the types of assessment of learning performance and their defining criteria for planning, organising and managing the skiing and driving study process, sports and health classes, taking into account safety regulations and outdoor environmental factors.
3. Methods, techniques and aids following an individualised approach according to age, gender and level of development.
4. Preparation of skiing and driving equipment for sports and health classes based on outdoor environmental conditions and material and technical support.
5. Different teaching methods, forms and technologies in study work and consistency between the objectives of the class, the aids used and learning outcomes.
6. To demonstrate the content of the pre-school curriculum for movement with sports equipment (skiing, driving).
7. In an individual approach, to choose according to the age of the children the content of the class on movement with aids (skiing, driving) and the specifics of teaching.
8. To assess the child’s achievements and personality growth.
9. Ability to plan an interdisciplinary and individualised learning process.
10. Ability to critically analyse and evaluate the pedagogical aids, methods, techniques and aids used, their compliance with the abilities of the child and education goals in health-promoting outdoor activities when moving with sports equipment.
11. To take responsibility for classes, safety of events in outdoor activities moving with sports equipment.
12. Ability to provide feedback in the assessment of both the child and personal activities.
13. Able to creatively choose study aids by integrating health and safety content, other subject areas, transversal skills and values in outdoor activities moving with sports equipment.
14. Able to identify security hazards and risks in different environments and situations in outdoor activities moving with sports equipment, take preventive safety measures, choosing the most appropriate problem-solving strategies.
