Self-Isolation Upon Arrival to Latvia Reduced From 14 to 10 Days
For Students
On 15 September the Latvian Ministry of Health reduced the period of self-isolation for anyone arriving or returning to Latvia from 14 to 10 days. Please note that self-isolation will now also be necessary for travellers returning from Estonia.

The full 14-day self-isolation requirement will still apply to anyone who has been in contact with person infected with COVID-19 as well as people working in certain professions, such as medics, education workers and social care workers.
Ilze Viņķele, the Latvian Minister for Health, emphasised that the decision was based on the latest medical studies.
