Assessment of the activity of mitochondria-targeted substances and their compounds in the ex vivo model of mitochondrial damage

The objective of the research is to develop the ex vivo methods for assessment of mitochondrial functions in order to carry out the evaluation of mitochondria-targeted activity of new medicines and food supplements. The active substances could be further studied as potential agents for prevention and/or treatment of neurodegenerative, cardiovascular, and metabolic diseases
