Persistent viral infection involvement in immune system modulation and in the development of systemic autoimmune diseases.

The aim of the project is to study the involvement of viruses in the development of non-infectious diseases by determining the interaction between the virus and the macroorganism and the mechanisms and determinants of this interaction in order to develop innovative infection process regulation and modulation strategies.
