About Study Course
Objective
After obtaining the qualification of a technical orthopedist, student will be able to independently select the necessary technical aids appropriate to the patient's clinical situation and environment.
Prerequisites
Human anatomy and physiology, Medical terminology in Latin and Greek, Classification of human functioning and Social assistance.
Learning outcomes
To know the relationship between the manifestations of the disease and the results of the patient's functioning (in the aspect of the International Classification of Functioning) in the choice of medical services, including for technical aids.
Be able to perform a functional assessment appropriate to the patient's health condition.
Carry out the integration of self-care, mobility and communication in the selection of technical aids for the limitation of the functioning of certain categories of patient functioning assessment and clinical trials.
