About Study Course
Objective
Provide in-depth theoretical knowledge of civil law and civil procedure, identify development trend and problems in the aforementioned branches of law, upgrade skills in finding a scientifically justified solution to problems, constantly keep track of the transformations in law, give them a reasoned assessment, present the results of their research, discuss the topicalities in the development of law at both national and international level.
Prerequisites
Issues of theory of law, issues of civil law and civil procedure.
Learning outcomes
1.In-depth and classified knowledge of civil law and civil procedure law and law enforcement problems; doctoral students are able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the latest scientific theories and conclusions; they know well research methodology and modern research methods in civil law and civil procedure, understand the place and role of civil law and civil procedure within the legal system, see causation and the impact on the legal relationship.
1.Ability to independently evaluate and select appropriate research methods, contributing to the extension of the legal knowledge boundaries and giving new insights to existing legal knowledge and its application in practice. Ability to present research results, to communicate verbally and in writing about the field of law science with the wider scientific community and society as a whole; the ability to independently improve their legal scientific qualifications, to carry out legal research projects, gaining achievements in the field of law corresponding to international criteria.
1.The completion of the course provides for the capacity to carry out independent, critical analysis, synthesis and evaluation, to address significant legal research or innovation tasks, to independently propose legal research ideas, to plan, structure and lead large-scale socio-legal research projects, including within an international context.
Ability to analyse practical observations methodologically by linking them with theoretical knowledge, and demonstrate conceptual and analytical skills in the development of the theory of law.
