About Study Course
Objective
To provide students with the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and competence in clinical care in a simulation-based learning environment.
Prerequisites
Anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and microbiology.
Learning outcomes
Students will acquire basic knowledge of patient care and recovery-promoting factors. They will demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of the latest medical technologies used in clinical care.
To assess the patient's condition and practically conduct clinical procedures; to prepare and administer the prescribed medication to the patient; to provide intravenous access with a needle and peripheral venous catheter and perform intravenous drug administration using the suitable equipment; to assess and measure the patient's vital signs; to collect blood, urine, stool, sputum, etc. samples accurately for laboratory tests; to perform procedures related to the gastrointestinal tract; to administer procedures related to the urinary tract; to record the appointed and administered procedures.
Ability to apply and evaluate appropriate clinical procedures, medical devices, and other activities to ensure optimal patient care. Ability to analyse situations, substantiate, logically formulate and explain their opinion.
