Objective

To give students the opportunity to learn roller skating and its organization at a professional level to plan, manage and evaluate the roller skating teaching process.

Prerequisites

Knowledge in sports theory, pedagogy, sports didactics, psychology, anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. Knowledge, skills and abilities in various sports acquired at school, in PPK courses in the I, II years of study.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

1) writing an outline of a lesson, drawing up an event plan;
2) in the biomechanical structure of roller skating movement techniques, technique and tactics teaching methodology;
3) in the safety and competition rules of the learning process and their organization;
4) appropriate age stage in student development and teaching characteristics;
5) in professional ethics and safety regulations, hygiene requirements, sanitary norms and material and technical provision.

Skills

1) independently apply knowledge and skills in the planning, organization, and management of the learning process and lessons of roller skating, choosing and applying appropriate learning methods, means and observing the principles of dosage of physical loads according to age, gender and physical fitness;
2) will be able to plan, organize and lead roller skating lessons and events in compliance with safety rules and outdoor environmental factors;
3) independently teach the technique of roller skating movements, diagnose and eliminate the shortcomings of the students' technique;
4) independently assess the students' physical and functional condition, technical preparation, dynamics of achievement and the effectiveness of the learning process of roller skating, as well as propose suitable changes in the learning process;
5) will be able to choose to prepare roller skating equipment for the learning process and events based on outdoor environmental conditions and material and technical support;
6) will know how to motivate students for the learning process, create responsibility and positive interaction with students;
7) will be able to observe tolerance in the differentiation and individualization of the pedagogical process according to the abilities, needs and interests of the students, and to evaluate the students' achievements and personal growth;
8) independently use different teaching methods, forms and technologies in teaching-training work and implement correspondence between the goals of the lesson, the means used and the results achieved;
9) using the learned theoretical foundations of roller skating, to carry out creative and innovative professional and research activities.

Competence

1) apply the acquired knowledge and skills in the learning process of roller skating;
2) analyze and evaluate the pedagogical means, methods, techniques used in teaching;
3) analyze the compliance of the chosen teaching methods, means and forms with the students' abilities and educational goals;
4) take responsibility for the safety of training classes, competitions and events;
5) to lead a lesson for students of different preparation;
6) predict students' talents in roller skating;
7) plan and organize roller skating lessons;
8) plan the learning process, the main and secondary tasks of the lesson;
9) introduce novelties in the learning process; collaborate with students.
