Objective

To build understanding of students about the role of internal communication in the company or institution, goals, principles and tools of formation of internal communication.

Prerequisites

Understanding of the principles, methods and management of public relations is necessary.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

After successfully completing the course, the student will know the nature of internal communication, goals, target audiences, will be able to apply the elements of the formation process, and will also know the importance of internal communication in achieving organizational goals, change and crisis processes

Skills

Students will know how to evaluate the internal communication environment, to identify problems and make proposals for resolution of problems, to select the most appropriate internal communication solutions and to evaluate the result achieved by internal communications activities

Competence

Will acquire competencies to understand the importance and tools of internal communication in achieving the organization's strategic goals; will understand the role of internal communication in a company or institution; will know the goals, principles and tools of creating internal communication; will understand the interaction between internal communication and employee loyalty, motivation and productivity; will be able to apply the processes of change management, crisis communication and strategic planning in the role of internal communication.
