Objective

To engage in a research group and/or a research consortium; to develop communication skills and abilities needed for obtaining scientific results in the specific project. To be able to communicate on the subject matter of own research work with the wider scientific community; to increase own scientific qualification. To be able to communicate effectively with the society by promoting the formation of the “Knowledge Society”.

Prerequisites

The research experience of the Master's thesis, defended research work upon completion of the Master’s degree study programme.
The following study courses of the 1st year of study of the Doctoral study programme completed: “Research Methodology” and “Healthcare and Research Ethics”.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Upon completion of the project, the student demonstrates knowledge of the planning of the work of the research group, describes the framework of research findings and critical collection of research information.

Skills

The student uses research methods according to the tasks of the research project, systematizes and explains the results.
Finds, processes and analyses research information.
Draws up theses on the obtained results and effectively presents the data to the scientific community.

Competence

Improves his/her research activity, justifies research results, manages research methods and puts forward research ideas.
