Objective

To give opportunity to the students aquire theoretical knowledge about physiological functions of human body, their mechanisms and regulation, in the physiological practice to register and evaluate various functions of the body.

Prerequisites

In human anatomy, histology, biochemistry.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

In the result of successful aquisition of the course students will be able to characterise functions of different organ systems, explain their regulatory mechanisms and evaluate physiological parameters in a healthy human.

Skills

At the end of the course students will have skills to register basic physiological functions, analyze and evaluate obtained results, give solutions in situations related to human physiology.

Competence

Students will be able to apply gained knowledge for evaluation of functional state of a person, solving situations related to nutritional disorders and giving recomendations in nutrition therapy.
