About Study Course
Objective
Acquire patient care and related manipulations according to the profession standard, the ethics of nurses, and the knowledge acquired in the 1st, 2nd year study programme. Use positive communication skills in the patient care process, as well as working with patient relatives and other team members. To base practical activities on legal and ethical principles. To acquire the ability to develop a care plan.
Prerequisites
Pharmacology, Basics of Clinical Care, Clinical Care, Care Process and Nursing Theories, Interpersonal Communication in Healthcare, Placement I and II, Internal Diseases and Patient Care, Surgical Diseases and Patient Care.
Learning outcomes
Acquire knowledge in the care of patients with primary, secondary and tertiary surgical and internal diseases.
Improved theoretical and practical skills required for the planning and carrying out of patient care for surgical and internal diseases in patients of all age groups. Develop an independent care plan for a particular patient and take care in line with the priorities.
Ability to apply and evaluate appropriate clinical procedures and other care activities – care of therapeutic, surgical patients (evaluation, distribution of care problems, professional activities and patient education).
