Knowledge in human anatomy and physiology, basic knowledge in biomechanics of musculoskeletal system.
Learning outcomes
As the result of study course student will acquire basic knowledge to classify and recognize the orthotics materials, as well as to describe and plan splinting process.
As the result of study course student will acquire basic skills and be able to deal with the hand impairment-related problems, assess the hand/wrist functions using certain measurements to fabricate and / or adapt to a simple principle static wrist orthoses and evaluate their compliance with the needs of the individual.
