Objective

To acquaint students with the specifics of the work of a psychologist in different environments, legislation regulating psychologist's activity, documentation in profesional action, profesioprofessional standard and ethics of psychologist's work.

Prerequisites

General psychology.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Students describe the activities of a psychologist in various fields of professional activity, are familiar with the basic principles of a psychologist's activity. Students are familiar with the code of ethics of psychologists.

Skills

Students independently use the documentation regulating the activity of a psychologist in order to analyse situations related to the work of a psychologist. Use the code of ethics to analyse ethically sensitive professional situations.

Competence

Students express their empathic and respectful attitude towards the client/patient and ethical sensitivity in dealing with professional issues and ethical dilemmas.
