About Study Course
Objective
Improve and systematise students' understanding of fundamental principles, terminology and methodology of psychosocial rehabilitation; educate on possibilities in psychosocial rehabilitation; stimulate understanding about work in a multidisciplinary team and its principles in psychosocial rehabilitation; educate on the use of psychological help methods, goal setting in psychosocial rehabilitation and preparing psychological help plan for different patient/client groups.
Prerequisites
Social psychology, clinical psychology, clinical health psychology, health psychology, developmental psychology, professional work and ethics.
Learning outcomes
Defines and explains the terminology, principles and methodology of psychosocial rehabilitation; explains the possibilities of psychological help; describes the working principles of a multiprofessional and interdisciplinary team in psychosocial rehabilitation and defines strategies for providing psychological assistance in psychosocial rehabilitation according to the patient group.
Uses the terminology learned in the course; is able to recognize factors influencing the process of rehabilitation; recognizes the main tasks of the specialists of the multi-professional and interdisciplinary team and is able to communicate according to their field of work, is able to choose the methods of psychological help appropriate to the patient group and factors, applies theories and methods of setting psychological help goals.
Understands and applies the terminology used in psychosocial rehabilitation; develops cooperation with their own and other professions in solving client problems by joining the multi-professional and interdisciplinary team work; explains the principles of multiprofessional team work in psychosocial rehabilitation and cooperates with team specialists according to the sphere of activity, applies psychological help methods according to the patient group, develops an appropriate psychological assistance plan and sets the goals of psychological help provision.
